A maximum of 20 applicants will be admitted. The organizers aim to guarantee a diversity of participants on the basis of geo-cultural background, discipline of study and gender. There is no registration fee for the Winter School but participants are required
to cover their own travel and accommodation costs (in University Residence. Reservations will be arranged by the organizers).
PhD students who are carrying out research on themes related to the Winter School are invited to present their research and discuss it in one of the afternoon sessions when senior discussants will comment on the projects. If you are interested in this possibility please submit a 250-word abstract with your application. An extended abstract is expected two weeks prior to the winter school.
Applicants are asked to complete the online application form and attach a motivation letter, a curriculum vitae in pdf format, reference letter as well as a copy of their last degree certificate and passport.
Deadline for submission of applications is 8th December 2013.
Accepted applicants will be notified by 23rd December 2013.
