Women and the Syrian conflict

This public dialogue gathers several civil society organisations from Syria and Italy. It addresses the Syrian conflict and its tragic consequences with a gendered lens and the development of necessary knowledge on democratic transition to be channelled to the broad public.

Part of the international conference: Rethinking the transition process in Syria: Constitution, participation and gender equality, organized by the Center for Gender Studies of University of Padova and the Euromed Feminist Initiative (IFE-EFI), this session brings into light perspectives from within Syria on the impact of the conflict on women, and addresses the refugee issues in Italy and Europe.

We invite associations and individuals to attend and participate actively in the session.
